Back-yard ground station in Norfolk, Virginia. Two crossed-dipole eggbeater antennas (EB-144 VHF, EB-432 UHF) at 4 m on a steel mast, each with a Nooelec Lana LNA at the receiver end, RTL-SDR V3 receivers, lightning arrestors on every line. Horizon partly blocked below about 15 degrees by trees and a fence. Runs on a Raspberry Pi 5 that also feeds ADS-B. Operated by two scientists learning radio; happy to take requests.
